LaunchPadMail E-marketing Policy

LaunchPadMail adheres to a strict code of practice regarding our Client's database information.

LaunchpadMAIL is a powerful email marketing solution, which is used to create and deliver permission-based, personalised email campaigns - we do not support spam or unsolicited email which violates our Terms of Service (as detailed in the confidential contractual agreement between the parties involved).

In New Zealand the sending of unsolicited emails is illegal under the Unsolicited Electronic Messages Act 2007 and we take appropriate measures to ensure that all emails sent by LaunchPadMail comply with this Act.

Your privacy is very important to EstarOnline ("we" or "us") with that in mind:

• we will not collect personally identifiable information on our website, such as your name, address, e-mail address or telephone number; without your knowledge;
• we will not disclose your Personal Information to third parties unless you have authorized us to do so;
• we will take reasonable steps to protect the security of the personal information we collect from you;
• we will not spam you or send any unsolicited mail.

Subscribing to a mailing list

• all email addresses obtained by our clients are permission-based where-by the client has opted-in to receive communication from that entity

Emails should not be sent unless our client has consent.

Consent ("opting-in") can be gained in a variety of ways such as:

1. ticking a box on the clients website
2. filling in a form
3. via a phone /face-to-face conversation

Please note it is our Client's responsibility to keep a record of all instances where consent is given, including who gave the consent and how.

• you are welcome to forward our clients emails to friends but please do not subscribe email addresses that are not your own

To unsubscribe from a mailing list

All email campaigns and newsletters that our clients send are required to include an unsubscribe link, usually located at the bottom of the email. Clicking this link will result in the customer being automatically unsubscribed from this Client's mailing list. Replying to the email instead of using the link will result in the unsubscribe request being sent to our client who must undertake to suspend the subscriber from receiving communication as soon as possible.

Business Identification

We require all email campaigns our clients send to include the company responsible for the email; including how they can be contacted. This is usually located at the bottom of the email.

We require all email campaigns use a real email address in the reply-to header which this allows subscribers to contact the sender simply by replying to it.

Privacy

The privacy of our clients and their customers is very important to us. We collect and store personally identifiable information such as names and email addresses gathered through the clients website. The information we collect via the clients website is treated as confidential and will never be sold, given, rented, traded or otherwise disclosed to other third parties. We require our clients to be responsible for complying with the above privacy requirements and any customer database that they upload to LaunchPadMail must not be from a sold, given, rented , traded or third party source.

Security

We take appropriate measures and use appropriate technology to ensure the security of all personally identifiable information we keep, these measures include the use of up to date firewalls and secure email servers. (EstarOnline is PCI-DSS compliant)

Legal disclaimer

Though we make every effort to preserve user privacy, we may need to disclose personal information when required by law wherein we have a good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a current judicial proceeding, a court order or legal process.
